Bonds are being incorrectly tagged as equity under allocation. I want to be able to change the categorization.

If clicking on an investment account it would be great to see a chart or breakdown of the type of allocation for each account. For example, showing the percentage invested in domestic equites, international equities, fixed income, cash, etc.

A more detailed allocation section will make it easier for us to know when we should rebalance our investments.
I’d like to break down the assets by asset type and maybe even sector. This makes it extremely helpful to know when to rebalance. IMO differentiating between ETF and Mutual Funds is not as helpful because the two assets can track the same investment underneath (e.g. VTI vs VTSAX). An example allocation could be:
- 60% Equity
- 5% Cash
- 5% Bonds
- 10% Crypto
- 20% Real Estate
Second, I would also like to know the allocation within each sector. For example, how much % is in US vs International in Equity. Managing a US/International allocation is very common for low-cost index investors. Other information that could be useful could be stock portfolio allocation for each sector, which would be useful for those that tilt, e.g. what % of equities are small cap value.
I think there are two potential approaches for solving this problem. We can define a standard set of asset types to group the investments by, but pick better categories that represent distinct asset classes. The other approach would be to allow users to label an asset class for each of their investments (similar to transactions). This allow users to be able to visualize their asset allocations however they want
